Giving victims a voice through therapy can help them notice, share, and process painful feelings so they do not carry these challenges with them into adulthood.
COURSE DESCRIPTION & REGISTRATION
8 weekly sessions.
Being a victim of bullying can destroy a young person’s self-worth. Being bullied can create anger, shame, anxiety, and isolation. Giving victims a voice through therapy can help them notice, share, and process painful feelings so they do not carry these challenges with them into adulthood.
Some victims of bullying benefit from group therapy where they can meet and relate to other kids in similar situations through support.
The group consists of 8 sessions and is limited to 8 participants. Sessions are facilitated by a Registered Psychotherapist and a Social Worker.
8 one hour sessions (children only)
Dates: Monday, Friday or Saturday Time: TBD (pls fill out a Group Interest Survey) Cost: $15 / session Ages: 10-12
*Limited enrollment: (max 8)
We love running groups that meet the needs of families.
(**Please fill out the Group Interest Survey to help us determine what group will be offered next and at what time. Once survey results indicate a number of families are interested in the same topic, we will set a start date, open registration & notify all emails provided on the Group Interest Survey. At that time, (if you still wish) you can register for the limited # of spots available for that group**)
If the buttons below are RED, either the course is full or we are waiting for more Group Interest Survey responses from you!
