Jessica loves connecting with others and believes that every person has a story worth listening to. For over 10 years, she has been working with children, teens, young adults, and their families in various roles such as teaching, coaching, mentoring, and group facilitation. She deeply appreciates the privilege of seeing those she works with grow in their skills and confidence and become empowered. Jessica is warm and friendly, an engaged listener, and has a heart for those who find themselves “falling through the cracks”.
Jessica has direct experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. She has worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and family situations. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and grounded in Family Systems Theory and Attachment Theory, and she incorporates tools from therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
In her free time, Jessica loves to try new forms of art (like sculpting!), hike, rock-climb, and spend time with her family and friends.
