Life Skills for Teens

World Wise Groups for teens; WIND, FIRE, EARTH, SEA and SKY will cover essential skills such as:

• Careers and Study Skills
• Building Confidence
• Communication Skills
• Finance and Budgeting
• Digital Skills
• Taking Care of Your Health and Wellbeing

Group participants will learn practical tools and become confident that they can work to achieve whatever goals they set for themselves.

The groups vary in length and are limited to 10 participants. Sessions are facilitated by a variety of qualified professionals. Here are our currently running World Wise Groups:

This 10-week interactive course is designed for young teens to be equipped to responsibly handle money matters. Parents are asked to join their teens for 3 of the sessions to be involved in discussions of how to appropriately transfer financial responsibilities to their teens and support their financial goal-setting.

By the end of this course, teens will have the tools to:
* Create and execute S.M.A.R.T. financial goals,
* Make wise financial decisions both now and in the future, and
* Control their spending (not to be controlled by it).

We are pleased to have Mr. Matt Bean teach this course.  Matt is an educator who has worked with teens and adults for more than a dozen years.  His passion is to see teens supported as they investigate and navigate their future, particularly in the areas of finance and career.  He is the owner and coach of Foundations Career Coaching.
