Conflict Resolution for Kids

5 weekly sessions.

This treatment group helps kids develop the skills needed to resolve conflict in healthy and helpful ways.

The group consists of 5 sessions and is limited to 8 participants.  Sessions are facilitated by a child and youth counsellor.

Conflict-resolution skills are essential life skills.  They help individuals acquire and maintain relationships, make and maintain cohesive families, and increase the probability of attaining a job through communication and collaboration skills. They are pro-social skills which, in turn, increase achievement levels and improve resiliency. An additional benefit of having conflict-resolution skills is the enhancement of leadership capabilities.
