BIOGRAPHY

Taylor is an empathetic and approachable counsellor with over 8 years of experience working with children and adolescents. For over 5 years, she has provided individual counselling to children, adolescents, and parents. Taylor has experience working with mental health challenges such as generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, social anxiety disorder, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

In addition, Taylor has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and youth, and she is passionate about helping children, youth, and parents navigate and overcome obstacles to thrive. Drawing from a trauma-informed and client-centred lens, Taylor integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), structural family therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT).

In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending quality moments with her husband, family, and friends and finds joy in crocheting.
