Anger Management for Children

5 weekly sessions.

This treatment group helps children better understand their anger so they can make healthy and successful choices, and build strong relationships.

The group consists of 5 sessions and is limited to 8 participants.  Sessions are facilitated by a professional (Registered Psychotherapist).

Goals of the group include:

• Identifying anger triggers
• Taking responsibility for mistakes
• Finding healthy ways to deal with provocation and avoid losing control
• Stating feelings, learning steps to control anger, exploring consequences
• Building a ‘tool box’ with strategies to self-regulate their feelings and behaviours

Sessions: 5 one hour sessions (children only)
