Susan is a compassionate and attentive listener who aims to create a space where you can feel safe and heard. Over twenty years of parenting, a decade of teaching, and years of advocacy for youth grappling with addiction, trauma, and mental illness have given her a soft spot for teens in hard places.
Susan is passionate about helping people overcome the barriers keeping them from living life to the full, such as trauma, mental health, transitions and decisions, relationship challenges, grief, or other life struggles. Looking through attachment and systems lenses, she integrates theories and treatment from therapies including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma and depression, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Theory, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
