SHARI MARKOVICH

Shari is compassionate and encouraging. She has worked with children and adolescents for more than 20 years and, arriving late to motherhood has found it to be the greatest education of all! She is a wife, mother of two and personally familiar with issues related to birth trauma, mental illness, chronic pediatric disease and parenting.

Throughout her experiences teaching and leading children & youth programs, Shari’s passion has always been to see families thrive. She is motivated to work with children and parents so families can function in healthy and supportive ways. She uses a variety of counselling modalities, including Theraplay®, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems.

Most of Shari’s free time is spent with her family, but she also enjoys reading and gardening.
